A naming ceremony is a special opportunity for family and friends to formally celebrate and welcome your child into their community. Babies can be named shortly after their birth; their first birthday is also a popular time to conduct the ceremony. Sometimes other children in the family will be named at the same time and it can be a special way of welcoming an adoptive child or announcing the blending of children from two families.

A naming ceremony is a unique occasion for everyone to feel involved as they pledge their love and support for your child’s future. I enjoy getting to know families to plan a personal, creative and meaningful naming ceremony to be held in their home or other location. Godparents, guardians or mentors can be chosen as significant, supportive adults in your child’s life. I can also include grandparents and siblings with special roles within the ceremony.

RENEWAL OF VOWS

Renewing your wedding vows is a beautiful way to mark the passage of time in a successful marriage and express your love and commitment to each other. Couples may choose to reaffirm their vows on a special anniversary and take the opportunity to include significant people in their lives. Often couples who were married overseas choose to renew their vows in a celebration with their family and friends in Australia.

I will assist you to design your perfect ceremony by providing you with a wealth of sample ceremonies, vows, readings and other traditions to make your celebration truly memorable. I will provide you with a beautifully presented copy of your ceremony and a certificate to honour your special day.

COMMITMENT CEREMONIES

A commitment ceremony signifies a heartfelt desire and promise to share your life with one another. It can be very similar to a wedding ceremony. However, rather than being a legally binding ceremony, it is a public affirmation of lifetime commitment and love for each other and celebrates your hopes for the future.

A commitment ceremony can be held at any venue of your choice and can be held privately or include your family and friends.
